Microsoft launched new versions of the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 with additional storage space on Friday.
Customers can now pick up either convertible tablet/laptop hybrid with a 6th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. You’ll pay a pretty penny for either device configured with that kind of hardware, though. The Surface Pro 4 with that configuration costs $2,699, and that doesn’t even come with a keyboard. The Surface Book will set you back $3,199 in that configuration.
Microsoft also said it’s launching a new gold Surface Pen in the U.S., Canada, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. The pen offers 1024 levels of sensitivity and works – at least at that sensitivity – with the Surface Pro 4 or Surface Book.
