Giroud’s strike was enough to settle the match in Arsenal’s favour.
The Europa League victory extended the club’s lead at the top of Group H as Arsenal now has nine points from three games, five points ahead of BATE Borisov in second.
Arsenal’s next Europa League game is against Red Star Belgrade, this time at the Emirates Stadium in London, on Thursday November 2.
