Podcasts said to hit Google Play on Monday

Google will reportedly begin offering podcasts directly through the Google Play Store as early as this Monday, April 18. It’s a rumor we’ve heard before – that Google had plans to bring podcasts back to its own software – but we didn’t know when. AndroidPolice filled that void, recently, with some new evidence

NPR recently emailed listeners noting that its content will be available through the Google Play Store on April 18. The information was supposed to be embargoed between NPR and its listeners, but it looks like one of them didn’t really care, and sent the email off to AndroidPolice anyway.
