If you’re trying to avoid spoilers for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, you might want to keep your eyes open – or, I should say, closed. At least one retailer in the UK has leaked the game early, meaning copies are out in the wild and, potentially, in the hands of trolls or people who are simply too excited to stay quiet.
Video Gamer reported yesterday that they’d spoken to someone who walked into UK electronics shop CeX and bought the game. The game’s director, Neil Druckmann, has even warned his followers to “stay vigilant:”
Uncharted 4 is just two weeks away! As we get closer it’ll get harder and harder to control leaks. Stay vigilant. Big surprises in store.

The game was delayed at almost the last minute until May 10 to, according to PlayStation head Shawn Layden, meet demand for the game. While some shops have copies, that suggests that they’re still getting copies into the hands of others, which is why it isn’t on shelves yet. There’s also the very real possibility that they’re finishing up a day one patch as well.
Either way, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End releases on May 10 for Playstation 4.
