Ordering your food online is already easy with services like Seamless and GrubHub. Now it’s even easier thanks to an update from the company, which owns both apps, adding support for Apple Pay and a few other improvements.
Adding Apple Pay for in-app purchases should make it a lot quicker to sign up for Seamless or GrubHub if you haven’t already. TechCrunch notes that a similar update for the Instacart app also sped up the average checkout time by almost a full minute by simplifying the process. Apple Pay promises to keep your data private, making it a secure option as well.
The same update also adds photos of food from the restaurant you’re looking at in both apps. That should make it easier to decide what you want for lunch if you generally have trouble picking between different options.
