Galaxy Note 7 said to offer at least 64GB of storage, new colors

Just hours after confirming the Galaxy Note 7 name, reliable tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) has revealed more juicy details about Samsung’s next flagship phablet — including how much storage it will ship with as standard.

In recent years, Samsung’s high-end devices have offered 32GB of storage as a minimum, then higher capacity options for those who need them. But according to Blass, the Galaxy Note 7 will offer at least 64GB, plus a microSD card slot.

Other specifications are said to include a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual-pixel phase-detection autofocus, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and IP68 certification for dust- and water-resistance.

Blass also promises that the Galaxy Note 7 will pack Samsung’s first iris scanner, and that it will initially be available in three color options: black, silver, and blue. The Galaxy Note 5 was also available in blue and later on in silver, but the black option will be new.

According to recent leaks, the Galaxy Note 7 will make its official debut in early August, and should go on sale in most markets by the end of the month.
