That savagery on wheels is called the Red Dragon, a 4WD racing buggy with immense tires designed to compete in a series that makes you go rock crawling and 100 MPH hard-charging in the same lap.
Ultra4 runs all over the United States (and now Europe too) with their crowning event, The King Of The Hammers, going down in California’s Johnson Valley around the beginning of every year.
Ultra4 cars are kind of like the offspring of a trophy truck and a Jeep. They have to be able top operate effectively in low and high speed situations and take a beating from every direction without dying.
