Galaxy Note 7 revealed, here’s our first look

Well look at that, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 leaks are coming in, right on time. Just as we’ve assumed, the design cues from the Galaxy S7 have made their way to Samsung’s phablet.

The tweet by Evan Blass shows three color variations of the Note 7: Black Onyx, Silver Titanium, and Blue Coral.

Last week, Blass revealed what looks like the name of the new phablet: Galaxy Note 7. As we already know, Samsung is reportedly skipping the Galaxy Note 6 brand in favor of aligning the branding across all mobile devices. In today’s images, we can see that name is indeed confirmed, judging from the logo on the back of the phone.

The logo we see on the display of the phones in the image above also seems to play off the Note’s S-Pen by forming the number 7 with the negative space, a neat touch that suggests perhaps we’ll see advancements on that front, too.

These images appear to be the kind that Samsung uses for marketing collateral. We won’t know for sure what the Galaxy Note 7 will look like, or what internal guts the new device will hold, until the actual release. However, if I were a betting man, I’d say these look pretty darn close to what we can expect later this fall.

Blass’s sources are usually very reliable and he’s also confirming an iris scanner, 5.7-inch QHD SAMOLED display, 64GB + microSD storage, 12MP Dualpixel camera, 5MP front camera, and IP68 water protection.

What do you think? Kinda looks similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge+ below, doesn’t it?
