Rumor: Nintendo Switch to ship with Splatoon as pack-in, Skyrim and Mario at launch

For the Nintendo Switch, a few outlets have been incredibly reliable when it comes to rumors and leaks. One such source is Let’s Play Video Games, and they’re back with some interesting tidbits.

First, the Nintendo Switch will, according to two separate sources, launch with a new version of Splatoon. Even further, it will be a pack-in game, presumably if consumers pick up the more expensive of the two rumored SKUs.

LPVG also adds that the 3D Mario and Skyrim, both shown off in the Nintendo Switch reveal trailer (seen below) will launch with the system in March 2017. The Skyrim game will even supposedly support mods at some point post-launch.

This report corroborates rumors of Zelda: Breath of the Wild delay

Furthermore, this report from the recently exceedingly solid Let’s Play Video Games further corroborates earlier rumors concerning a delay for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Currently on the official calendar for March 2017, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is apparently to be delayed until summer. The reason for the delay is the game’s scale and the effort required to test and localize it. Let’s Play Video Games complements the rumor from Emily Rodgers with their own sources. LPVG adds that the Wii U version of the game will be delayed, too.
