The holidays are right around the corner and many people will soon be piling into this nation’s airports, waiting on lines to get through security before they can board the flights that will take them to their loved ones. Aw! Just please be reminded not to pack your Batarang in your carry-on luggage.

Each year, the TSA—literal gatekeepers—confiscate a plethora of items that passengers have in their carry-on or checked bags (a complete list of prohibited items can be found here). And then the TSA posts the illicit items on its Instagram (which is fabulous, by the way) and on occasion will shame you about it.
Here are some of the best ones from this past year. And read the captions, too. The TSA is savage sometimes, man.
