There are a lot of thoughts about the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar out there. Some of it is good; most of it is not so good.
In our initial review, we broke down some of the good and bad parts of the computer. Spoiler, it’s not the best for productivity right now. Last week, Jon decided to vent some of the issues he’s been experiencing with Apple’s latest laptop, mainly terrible battery life. Apple promised ten hours worth of usage, but he’s been getting under five.
Now, Jon has had the computer for a month and he’s back to retell everything that is good and bad with the computer after the initial jolt of getting a first-generation device wears off. Sometimes it takes more than a couple of weeks to really see how a computer will operate for the long run, especially after updates are rolled out. So, how does the Jon feel about the new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar one month later?
Did he find new ways to use the Touch Bar? Are the limited ports really that bad? Did battery life get any better? Did the latest macOS update relieve any of the performance issues?
Jon answers all of those questions in the video above.
