If You Work For McLaren, You Get To Build Legos I Guess

I always imagined that working at McLaren was a fun gig. Today, this was confirmed when I saw the Lego 720S build video. Those bastards get to play with fast cars and sit around building Legos!

Back during the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed, we learned that McLaren was bringing an unfinished, 1:1 scale Lego model 720S for people to help complete during the festival. Spectators could help add about 13,000 bricks to the existing 267,300 bricks. This video shows the laying of those first 267,300.

McLaren says this build took 2,000 man hours. Weirdly, I don’t see any empty little plastic baggies spread out all over the floor. I find this suspicious.
