‘Are you actually Gareth Bale?’ — disbelieving football fan goes viral after meeting his hero

One young football fan could not believe his eyes on Wednesday morning.

When a Welsh youngster Curtis met Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale, he repeatedly had to ask the footballer if he was indeed Gareth Bale and not an imposter.

“Are you actually Gareth Bale?” Curtis said, struggling to contain his excitement.

Bale played along and joked that he was a fake, before signing a shirt for his star struck fan.

Bale is training with the Welsh national football team ahead of World Cup qualifiers against Austria on Saturday and Moldova on Tuesday.
