Toyota Was Prepared For The Texas Heat And Brought Their Own Pool

If you race in Texas and it’s not the dead of winter, you should probably pack a kiddie pool in with your car, spares, tools and other race weekend things. It’s always hot and muggy, and if you just drove a sweaty stint in a six-hour endurance race, why not hop in the pool afterwards to cool off?

This is pure genius and I’m frankly tempted to break into Toyota’s private space and use that pool here at Circuit of the Americas. A Toyota team representative said that they actually borrowed the idea from Porsche, so they’re probably not even the only kiddie pool here today.

Either way, it’s good to see that teams know our garbage hot weather by now.
