LONDON — Getting a degree in business can be a springboard into a lucrative career in banking or finance.
Certain names carry more weight than others when it comes to advertising your achievements to potential employers. As a result, many of the top business schools in the UK are heavily oversubscribed for places.
This week, the Sunday Times published its annual ranking of the UK’s best universities, which ranks establishments according to a number of factors including course satisfaction, student to staff ratio, and career prospects.
Business Insider took a look at the Business Studies subindex and ranked the constituents by the average UCAS tariff score of new students entering the system. The higher the average, the tougher it is to get into that school.
