Nearly half of all NBA players come from 14 colleges

No school has more players on this season’s NBA rosters than the University of Kentucky. In fact, one out of every 15 players in the NBA this season played college hoops at Kentucky.

Kentucky, which had 22 players selected in the last six NBA Drafts, topped the list of active players in the NBA with 27, according to data collected by RPIratings.com. Duke was second with 20.

Here are the 14 schools with at least seven active NBA players. Players from these schools represent nearly half (44%) of all active players in the NBA this season.
