Guess what? We’re only a few weeks away from the release of Deadpool, a movie that almost didn’t exist. But before that, we have more pressing matters to attend to. Did you know Natalie Portman hasn’t seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens? Or that there were a lot of other voice cameos in the movie?
There as been a real lull in geek content to watch over the past few months, Star Wars notwithstanding, but with Deadpool on the horizon, we’re about to turn a corner. As in, Batman v Superman is coming, as is Captain America: Civil War,Finding Dory, Warcraft, Suicide Squad, and many others.
You can peep many of this week’s biggest rumors at the bottom of this post.
War Machine in Captain America: Civil War
Don Cheadle talked about his role in Civil War, revealing War Machine will be “pivotal” to the story. Judging by the trailer, that could involve him getting severely injured—or even dying—but we’ll have to wait to find out what happens until May. [SuperheroHype]
Thor: Ragnarok to feature lots of humor
In addition to featuring a lot of great action, Thor: Ragnarok is also going to focus on humor. Director Taika Waititi spoke to The Wrap and expressed his desire to make Ragnarok funnier than the previous two movies, which were more serious. If you are unfamiliar with Waititi’s work, check out What We Do in the Shadows. [TheWrap]

Finding Dory international teaser
Not much is revealed in this new international teaser for Finding Dory, but it’s better than nothing. Pixar’s upcoming sequel is only a few months away, so chances are a full trailer is imminent—maybe around Super Bowl time.
Dreamworks releases trailer for Trolls
What looks like a Minion but has hair? Trolls. Dreamworks has released the first teaser for the upcoming movie, and it features exactly what you’d expect from a movie about little dolls. This is the same team that brought us Shrek, so it can’t be all bad, can it?
The Secret Life of Pets gets a new story trailer
This is what we know about The Secret Life of Pets: our animals do silly things when we’re away. But according to the latest trailer, that’s just a small part of the upcoming movie. Check it out—it’ll produce a chuckle or two.
Kit Harington still pretends he’s not in Game of Thrones
Although there’s ample evidence to the contrary, Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, keeps pretending he’s not going to appear in Game of Thrones season 6. In a new interview, this is what Harington had to say.
All I can tell you is Jon snow is dead. He died at the end of the last season.
Technically he did die at the end of season 5, but will he stay dead? Many people think he’s coming back, but we’ll just have to wait to find out when the show returns in April. [Latino-Review]
