Carlisle is like the epicenter of car shows in the Northeast. Pennsylvania is northeast? Sure. It was the West, but that was a long time ago.
I’m getting distracted. Carlisle plays host to the top Corvette show in the universe, as well as huge gatherings for Mopars and, apparently a ton of old French cars and other weirdos this weekend.
The moment we realized we had a chance to see a Renault 17TS, we packed our shit and headed west in Ballaban’s recently-waxed 2JZ Lexus wagon.
While we’re there we’re gonna see how Ballaban’s IS does in a Lexus concours event. (He will lose. No gold badges.)
