The world of people filming their radio-controlled cars is seemingly bottomless, a function of what I assume to be lower-costs and lower-stakes compared to off-roading in real life. The videos rip.
What sent me down this rabbithole initially was this vid of an RC Ford Bronco being put through its paces:
What soothes me about this video is the lack of danger, as I don’t have to stress about a driver getting a concussion or dying or something in service of making Cool Vidz. They’re also just fun and make me feel like an 11-year-old.

Also, I doubt this is the world’s biggest RC car, but still, I’m here for the vid’s title. The vid title is, “WORLD’S BIGGEST RC CAR!! (REALLY BIG).”
Part of the charm of RC car YouTube is that it is full of wild, unverifiable claims like this, about something being the biggest or the fastest or whatever.
RC cars are not cheap, or around $700 for the one you see above out of the box, a Traxxas XO-1, which Traxxas says can go zero to 100 in 4.92 seconds, or about the same time as a LaFerrari or Bugatti Veyron. Who needs a supercar?
