There is an Ohio company called Classic Ford Broncos that will custom assemble a variety of different styles of Bronco. The one shown here is a custom one-of-a-kind wood-paneled Bronco. It kicks all kinds of ass.
Hand crafted from marine-grade timber, it was a $74,900 wooden winner. These days the shop spends most of its time swapping modern 5-liter V8s into these vintage chassis. Sounds somewhat familiar.
Woodies died for the most part in the 1950s, and Ford never built one of these from the factory. While it would have been cool to see the blue oval throw down the gauntlet at Jeep’s original semi-lux SUV, it is somehow even more cool to see it created decades later.
