This is the Seat el-Born concept, the newest preview of a Volkswagen Group EV and, well, it just looks like if you mashed together a Tesla Model 3 and a Chevy Bolt.
The car is meant for VW’s fascinating MEB platform, that being the company’s new all-electric modular structure expected in production cars like the VW I.D. hatchback and crossover.
Specs aren’t totally set in stone, but VW expects battery options of around 50kWh or 80kWh, or 175 to 300 miles of range, as we’ve previously reported. Seat’s press release on this thing claims 420 km of range from a 62 kWh battery pack, putting it somewhere in the middle of those performance expectations.

Seat’s press release says it’ll be the second marque with MEB in production, shooting for sometime in 2020. The Model 3 and Bolt designs will be three years old at that point.
