If you work in an office there’s probably a photocopier sitting in the corner somewhere gathering dust. Now Xerox is teaching those machines to do something besides just scan and copy documents.
A new service from the company called Xerox Easy Translator turns your photocopier into a real life version of Google translate. Just feed a piece of paper with text on it into the machine and select the languages you’re translating from and to. The machine will quickly print out a translated version.
Xerox supports over 30 languages to start. The service costs $10 per 10 pages translated and the first 30 translations are free. The company is also offering human translators that should be even more accurate at the steep price of 10 cents per word.
