The last vehicle on this list is an expensive motorcycle, but of the likes we’ll never see again. There have been a number of rotary-powered motorcycles over the years, but they all owe their designs to the Hercules W-2000.
This bike uses a 294cc Sachs rotary that produces 27 horses. Originally, the rider had to mix oil in with the fuel because the engine didn’t have an oil sump. This W-2000 is a later model, featuring an oil injection system.
It also has a low 1,867 miles on its odometer. Just about 1,800 of these were made, and so far as I can tell, very few are in the States. It’s $15,000 on Craigslist in Edgewater, Florida.
That’s it for this week! Have you purchased a car from one of these posts? If so, I want to know.
If you know of a weird car for sale on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist, drop it down in the comments or send it along in an email! If the car’s still for sale, we may feature it in a future post.
