Major League Baseball’s biggest game in decades is happening on Wednesday night when the Cleveland Indians face the Chicago Cubs in Game 7 of the World Series with both teams trying to end championship droughts that extend all the back to the first-half of the 20th Century.
Prior to the game, Indians manager Terry Francona met with media to talk about the game. That’s when he was asked a bizarre question.
Veteran columnist Dan Shaughnessy of the Boston Globe, seemingly intent on breaking the ice at the affair, asked Francona if Game 7 is a “must-win game.” After taking a split-second to process what had been asked, Francona burst out into a huge laugh. It was great.
#Game7 is must-win … right, Tito? 😂😂😂#WorldSeries pres. by @TMobilehttps://t.co/MpyEmkVutr
