When it comes to football skills in the Ronaldo family, it looks like it is clearly a case of ‘like father, like son.’
Cristiano Ronaldo’s 6-year-old boy, Cristiano Junior, has a control over the football that is the stuff of dreams for kids who are twice his age.
Just watch how the young footballer confounds other children during a kickabout on Real Madrid’s famed Santiago Bernabeu pitch.
Ronaldo Junior dazzled the crowd with an expert drag-back, a turn that beat two players, and a cool finish.
Ronaldo Junior was on the Bernabeu pitch on Sunday as part of Real Madrid’s celebrations having won the Champions League title the night before, defeating Italian giant Juventus 4-1 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
Though Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic scored this wondergoal, Ronaldo Senior was clearly the star of the show as he struck twice to boost Real Madrid’s chances of success on the night.
Real’s victory ensured they returned to Spain with the Champions League trophy, thus becoming the first club in the modern era to retain the cup.
One wonders whether Ronaldo Junior will end up replicating his dad’s success in a Real Madrid youth team in the near future.
