Amazon’s entry-level Fire tablet, which offers a 7-inch display with 171 pixels-per-inch, is now just £39.99 (approx. $58) in the U.K. for a limited time. That’s £10 (approx. $14) off its regular price, but Amazon doesn’t tell us how long the discount will last.
The Fire is an ideal first tablet — especially at this price. Its 7-inch display combines with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 8GB of storage, a microSD card slot, and front- and rear-facing cameras that give you everything you need for playing games, reading books, browsing the web, and more.
The Fire tablet also runs Fire OS, which gives you access to the Amazon Appstore, Prime Video, Prime Music, and Kindle books, where you’ll find “more than 38 million songs, movies, TV shows, books, apps and games,” according to Amazon.
Even at £49.99, the Fire tablet is a good buy, so at £39.99 it’s an absolute steal — especially for young tech users. We don’t know how long this deal will last, though, so it’s probably best you take advantage of it as soon as you can if you’re interested.
