Batman: Return to Arkham released yesterday on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It’s a remaster of Arkham City and Arkham Asylum. It includes all DLC, and it’s selling for $49.99.
This new comparison video puts the PS3 version of Arkham Asylum up against the remaster on PS4. It comes from Candyland on YouTube.
Batman: Return to Arkham doesn’t look like a remaster worth owning right now.
This remaster doesn’t look like it lives up to the price of admission, does it? In fact, choosing the better of the two practically comes down to opinion.
No doubt, the PlayStation 4 version shows fewer jaggies and better lighting. It looks a touch better, but not so much that it’s worth buying.
As far as remasters go, Return to Arkham looks lame. Have you picked it up? Does it impress more than it disappoints?
