A remaster of the first couple Batman: Arkham games has been rumored for a while. Since last spring, actually. And this spring. And last week.
Finally, though, the bat has emerged from the shadows. The first two games, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, are being remastered for new consoles, rebuilt in Unreal Engine 4. The package will retail for $49.99 and feature all the downloadable content for both games.
There’s no word yet on whether the PC versions will see any such rebuild, but PC games naturally have access to higher textures and the like so it may not be necessary.
Batman: Return to Arkham will release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on July 26.
