British carrier EE is now offering the new BlackBerry Priv, two months after it made its official debut. The device is available for as little as £29.99 (approx. $43) upfront on a 4G plan with unlimited calls and texts and 10GB of data.
When Priv first arrived in the U.K., it was only available from Carphone Warehouse, which offers the device on- and off-contract through a number of carrier partners. Vodafone has since adopted the new device, and now EE is following suit.
Priv is the only Android-powered device you can buy today with a physical keyboard that’s actually worth owning. It has a beautiful 5.4-inch Quad HD display, a speedy Snapdragon 808 processor, 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, and an 18-megapixel rear-facing camera.
If you choose to buy one on EE, there are a range of plans to choose from, starting at £29.99 upfront with £54.99 (approx. $78) to pay each month. EE’s best-selling plan is £49.99 (approx. $71) upfront and £49.99 a month, which gets you unlimited calls and texts and 4GB of data.
Priv is available from EE’s online store with 1-day shipping, or from EE retail stores throughout the U.K.
