RHP Reese Olson —> DET
If there’s one thing the Milwaukee Brewers didn’t need, it was pitching. Starting, relief, specialist, whatever, the Brewers were set. Still, the team went out and acquired Detroit reliever Daniel Norris. Norris showed signs of greatness earlier in his career, but has cooled off over the last five years. Most likely, Norris will be a non-factor in Milwaukee’s bullpen. So, good for Detroit for being able to get something out of Norris. Reese Olson has not been an effective pitcher across his three years (four, if you count 2020), but he’s still young and has time to iron out his mechanics before he’s ready to make an impact for Detroit.
Verdict: Detroit gets decent potential in Olson for someone who only used to have potential
