Brembo’s Art Calipers Should Be on Every Car

Bright red brake calipers are yesterday’s news. It’s about time the community came together to come up with something new for the automotive scene. It’s time that your brake calipers had their time to shine as the perfect canvas for some totally rad art.

Brembo showed off this series of nine calipers at its stand during the Geneva Motor Show this week, and it kicks all the ass.

Car enthusiasm, as I see it, is about having fun. It’s about not taking things too seriously. If you can think of a way to individualize your ride that doesn’t put you or other motorists in harms way, I say do it. Have fun, make it your own. I don’t have to like it, but as long as you do, that’s what matters.

If you want argyle calipers, who am I to stop you? Hell, I’ll be right there in line next to you buying a set. They might be difficult to keep clean, though. Make sure you get them ceramic coated.

It doesn’t sound like Brembo will be offering these off the shelf, by the way, but maybe this will inspire folks to get a little more creative than “three coats of red spray paint” when it comes to customizing their calipers.
