The next entry in the Civilization franchise has launched. World, meet Civilization VI.

I’m playing the game for review, and one of its highlights, as always, is the soundtrack.

Firaxis and 2K have elected to take the game’s entire soundtrack and toss it up on YouTube for fans to enjoy. This has been my background music for the full day, whether that’s been in game or on YouTube. It’s that good.

Like I said, Civlization has a history of good music. In fact, “Baba Yetu” was the first video game music to ever win a Grammy. The Civilization V track scooped up the award for “Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist(s).” That was deserved, too.
