Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare didn’t sell as well as Activision is used to. In fact, it sold 50% fewer than copies at retail in the U.S. than last year’s Black Ops 3.
Activision is clearly looking to raise awareness for the game as they’re offering a free weekend of play on the PlayStation 4 platform. The title is just about a month old, too, so this came fast.
Now, when I say weekend, I practically mean week. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be free to download and try for five days, starting this Thursday. The game will stay free and unlocked until Dec. 20 at 10a.m. PT. If you pick up the full game, you’ll keep any progress you made during the demo.
What can I play when Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is free on PlayStation 4?
Right, so this comes with some restrictions. They’re not going to let you download the game and beat it without paying, after all.
The demo includes the first two story missions, multiplayer with a cap of level 15 and a level cap of 3 for the Zombies Mode.
Any takers?
