A little blasphemy every now and again can be good. There’s nothing wrong with trying to upend the natural order of things.
Our new Build of the Week series is one I’m really excited about because it highlights all your insane project cars, and it got off to a great start today with a Chevy V8-swapped Porsche 928.
I’ll eschew the usual hilarious COTD one-liner to go with a sincere comment by Mike on why this car is great:

I love seeing blasphemous cars. I was never a huge fan of numbers matching with original tires that have original factory air still in them. Building an amazing car is far more important than making sure all the logos match, and Nick has done just that.
Chevy small block was definitely the right choice. It’s a solid motor, easily available, and relatively inexpensive to modify. And that is as true for the modern LS variant, as it is for all previous Chevy small blocks. There is a reason so many swap kits exist for anything from a e36 BMW to a Nissan 350z, and it is why I am putting an LS1 in my 66 LeMans build.
To quote a popular saying, “When in doubt, Chevy it out.”
Can I get an amen?
