The Ford Taurus SHO, was an undeniably good car, so it’s no surprise that Conan O’Brien has kept his 1992 Ford Taurus SHO around for so long, even if he still likes to make fun of it on segments for Conan.
And while the poor car doesn’t deserve all the jokes at its expense, it’s worth noting that Conan genuinely seems to love it. It’s also a great color. Indeed, your next car should be green.
The 1992 featured a 3.0-liter V6 from Yamaha that revved very highly and produced 220 horsepower—“Super High Output” for sure, for 1992 at least. Conan’s is also a manual, making it a beast that’s fun to drive. Your car choice, Conan, is about as unimpeachable as it gets in these parts.
