Dishonored featured a stellar voice cast when it released back in 2012, with names like Susan Sarandon, Lena Headey, and Chloe Grace-Moretz headlining. Alongside the announcement of the game’s release date, Arkane announced via Game Informer that Dishonored 2 will carry on that tradition, pulling in actors from Daredevil, Game of Thrones, and more.
Vincent D’Onofrio, best known currently as Wilson Fisk in Marvel’s Netflix series Daredevil, will play the Duke of Serkonos. Rosario Dawson, who appeared in Daredevil as Claire Temple, will play the Dreadful Wale Captain.
Pedro Pascale, Oberyn Martell on Game of Thrones, will play the Howler Gang Leader.
Sam Rockwell (Moon, Seven Psychopaths), Robin Lord Taylor (Oswald Cobblepot on Gotham), and Jamie Hector (The Wire) also join the cast.
A couple actors more at home in front of the microphone than on camera join as well, both having appeared recently in Fallout 4. Stephen Russell, who voiced the synthetic detective Nick Valentine, will step into the previously un-voiced role of Corvo Attano, while Erica Luttrell will take Grace-Moretz’ place as the 25-year-old version of Empress Emily Kaldwin. Interestingly, it doesn’t look like any members of the original Dishonored cast are returning, even though some of the characters are.
With so many well-known names on the cast list, I’m looking forward to seeing what Dishonored 2 has in store. We’ll find out when the game releases on November 11 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
