The former Soviet Bloc is dotted with the abandoned ruins of its once off-limits past, with huge former military installations now left to be reclaimed by nature and time. Clearly, the best way to explore the vast expanses of a Latvian missile base is in a car—sideways. Behold: the drift video to end all drift videos.
Professional drifters Ryan Tuerck, Kristaps Bluss and Matt Powers ripped through this Latvian base leaving great clouds of tire smoke curling elevenses among the weeds in the pavement.

The cars, of course, are fittingly insane. Tuerck drifts an 800 horsepower supercharged E92 BMW M3. Bluss whips around a 950 HP supercharged E46 M3. Powers breaks the Bavarian theme with the baddest looking twin-turbo Nissan 370Z I’ve ever seen. All three sport LS V8 engines, per Autoblog.
Bluss—the driver with the best “driving face” in the video—hails from Latvia and pitched the idea to Tuerck as a fitting celebration for his HGK Motorsports shop’s ten-year anniversary.

Judging from how my jaw dropped at all the triple-tandem drifts, you’ve got to watch them celebrate. The video’s finale just took rad donuts to a whole ‘nother level.
