- The Atlanta Falcons got clever and let Mohamed Sanu play quarterback for a snap.
- It worked out as he connected with Julio Jones on a 51-yard touchdown.
The Atlanta Falcons let wide receiver Mohamed Sanu try his hand at quarterback on Sunday, and it appeared to work out.
In the second quarter, Sanu took the snap instead of Matt Ryan and connected on a deep, 51-yard touchdown to fellow receiver Julio Jones.
The throw was almost perfectly placed, falling right into Jones’ hands as he ran into the end zone.

The touchdown catch was just Jones’ second of the year, but Sanu has shown off his arm before. He had two touchdown passes with the Cincinnati Bengals.
