Ferrari, if you didn’t know, is a special little car company that’s been around since 1947—meaning it turns 70 next year. To celebrate, the special little car company is working on 350 unique special editions for its special customers.
Or is that speciale?
The announcement was privately made to an audience of 100 special Ferrari owners, detailing the company’s efforts to go back through its near-70 years of cars and model 350 special editions after the most special of the bunch, according to Autocar.

The 350 special editions will be spread across five Ferrari models including the 488GTB and Spider, California T, F12 Berlinetta and GTC4 Lusso.

Ferrari boss Sergio Marchionne addressed the overdemand for special editions at the Cavalcade closing dinner, saying his work with Galliera on determining who receives which cars was “probably the most difficult part of what I do”.
“It is painful, it is something I wish I did not have to do, but it is required by the brand, and so if there is anyone in this audience here I might have mistreated in this process I apologise upfront. Just keep in mind these limited edition cars will come again and we will make sure we will remedy any wrong doings at that time.”
Damn, Sergio is pre-apologizing for all his special customers who wont get special editions this time.
I thought the purpose of a special edition was that it will never “come again”? That’s what makes them so special.
I doubt we’ll see all 350 cars in person at the Paris Motor Show in October, but they’ll be revealed. Maybe just do the Year Of Ferrari Special Editions and reveal one a day. That’d be pretty special.
