Does it even matter what happened this week? All you need to know is that a trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story came out, giving fans a brief look at Disney’s first spinoff movie in the Star Wars universe. This is being described as a “war” movie and judging by the footage that was shown, that tone comes through.
You can check out our full breakdown of the movie here.
Captain America: Civil War
We’re less than a month away from the release of Captain America: Civil War, meaning it’s time for the cast and crew to openly discuss the movie’s implications. ABC got to interview many of the film’s stars interspersed with some brief behind-the-scenes footage.
Speaking of Civil War featurettes, Marvel has released a new video called In Good Company, in which fans can get to know the women of the film.
Yoda in Star Wars: Episode VIII?
According to Making Star Wars, Frank Oz, a legendary voice actor and puppet master, will be involved with Episode VIII. Rumor has it he’ll be once again lending his talents to Yoda, who will likely appear as a Force ghost when we meet Rey and Luke on Ach-to. [MakingStarWars]

Man of Steel 2
After being delayed indefinitely, director Zack Snyder said Man of Steel 2 might still happen.
I think if we could get a good script it would be great to have a standalone Superman movie. I think that would be fun to do. [IGN]
Maz Kanata
Rian Johnson, director of Star Wars: Episode VIII, has shared a behind-the-scenes image on his Tumblr, teasing Maz Kanata’s return. We expected her to appear in the film but this image seemingly confirms she will continue to have an important part to play.

The Flash and Cyborg
Producer Deborah Snyder talked about the upcoming Flash movie in the DC Cinematic Universe, hinting Cyborg will make an appearance.
As you can imagine, when we get to the Flash movie, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher—who plays Cyborg—are kind of our youngest characters, and they have a really nice comradery with each other. Ezra is super funny, so the tone of that film will be very different than the rest of them. [Forbes]
Fast & Furious 8
Charlize Theron has joined the cast of Fast & Furious 8 as one of the movie’s big villains. No details were shared but her casting joins an already ensemble cast, including The Rock, Vin Diesel, and others. [Variety]
Batman v Superman

Suicide Squad
We heard reshoots had been ordered for Suicide Squad and a new report further backs those claims up. Apparently the reshoots are going to take three weeks, which suggests the tone of the movie is being completely shifted.
@BatmanNewsCom wasn’t much to see but heard three weeks of reshoots, only two days on location the rest on stage. Don’t know cast.
