Gears of War 4 streamer freaks out, absolutely smashes controller thanks to lag

Don’t smash controllers, friends. No matter how bad the lag, your controller doesn’t deserve the trauma that comes from this type of behavior.

Popular Twitch streamer GoldGlove experienced a bit of lag, died, lost his cool and spiked his controller down.

The multiplayer arm of Gears of War 4 has been plagued by severe lag since launch. Developer The Coalition has noticed and is working on the problem, but the issues haven’t been resolved yet. There’s a thread on the game’s official forums that’s now more than 40 pages deep with tons of complaints, so it’s safe to say this is a widespread issue.

The controller in question looks like the custom red one that ships with the limited edition Gears of War 4 Xbox One S. If so, this one will be hard to replace.
