GOG’s Goodbuy 2016 sale makes DRM-free PC games cheap

GOG has started their major end-of-the-year game sale, too, joining the likes of Steam, Origin and Microsoft. There are some solid deals within.

Here are a few solid games you won’t regret buying.

Why go GOG over Steam?

A quick look across the two platforms indicates that the games on sale on GOG are running for largely the same price as they are on Steam. So, it comes down to marketplace preference.

Well, that and the DRM-free nature of what GOG offers. You can always use GOG’s optional (and solid) client, launch the game on its own or even add it to your Steam library as a third-party app. All of these things are great solutions if you’re the type to want to support GOG over Steam.

Whatever your marketplace of choice, now’s a great time to score some deals.
