One of my most anticipated games of 2016 is now one of my most anticipated games of 2017! Luckily, I won’t have to wait until next holiday to play it! Gravity Rush 2 has wrapped up its development and has now officially gone gold.
Director Keiichiro Toyama confirmed the news on his Twitter account over the weekend, and it was accompanied with some fun new footage of Kat and her gravity bending powers.
2pic.twitter.com/G69jWiYsoq

Gravity Rush 2‘s delay helped make it better
Toyama also thanks the fans for their patience in the post, explaining that Gravity Rush 2 is now a better experience because of its delay into 2017.
Botching a AAA launch is bad, but it will still sell well thanks to those who don’t know any better. Botching the launch of a fan favorite and cult classic sequel will only anger fans and the audience who is expected to buy it, the people who do know better. Sony made the right move here, and Gravity Rush 2 is going to be better than originally planned.
It releases for the PlayStation 4 on Jan. 20, 2017.
