If there’s one good thing about Indianapolis Motor Speedway hosting one leg of the Triple Crown of Motorsport, it’s that the big oval it usually produces some good, close racing. That’s exactly what happened in Indy Lights this morning: a crazy photo finish where the winner was decided by only .0024 seconds.

Indy Lights is the next-in-line feeder series right below IndyCar, and their Freedom 100 support race for the Indy 500 was today. Today’s race produced the closest finish in Indianapolis history, according to Yahoo Sports.

Ed Jones and Dean Stoneman ended up neck-and-neck battling for the win on the very last lap. Ultimately, Stoneman pulled off the win, and you could tell Jones was gutted when he dropped back so far at the end after losing by just a nose.
