LeBron James is eager to get back to basketball.
Even though he played all the way into May while carrying the Cleveland Cavaliers to yet another NBA Finals appearance, LeBron James is ready for the 2017-18 season to get started so he can try and do it again.
He said as much last week in a tweet, diagnosing himself with the “basketball Jones.”
Man I need some run!! Where y’all hooping at?? Off season please hurry up and end, I have basketball Jones!!

On Tuesday it appeared he found his run in the form of a pickup game that featured enough talented players to make up half an All-Star team.
The game, hosted by one of the top go-to trainers in the league Chris Brickley, included appearances from league stars both past and present including Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, J.R. Smith, Enes Kanter, Lance Thomas, Dahntay Jones, Marshall Plumlee and more.
The players ran fullcourt 5-on-5 at Life Time Athletic in New York in a game that looked far closer to a stream of highlights from an All-Star Game than an offseason shootaround.
Brickley, who recently spoke with Business Insider’s Scott Davis for a profile, caught footage of the game and posted it to Instagram.

LeBron, for his part, seemed to be pleased with the work out he got in.
Flew to NY just to do so then I’m going back back to Cali Cali for more run! 😂 https://t.co/ig8R4Sfg9d
