F-22 Raptors have become America’s go-to low density, high-demand combat asset. They flew their first combat missions over Syria in September of 2014 but they had been flying missions over the region for many years before and still do today. These beautiful photos depict a group of F-22’s getting refueled over deserts of the middle east after one of those missions.
