A high school teenager was arrested in Louisville, Kentucky for recruiting a gang of juveniles reportedly responsible for the theft of at least 23 cars, according to WHAS11. Pretty sure we’ve found a real life Baby Driver here, except he’s not nearly as fun.
According to police, 19-year-old Ariel Mayan is facing felony charges related to the theft of 23 cars, with possible connections to other local thefts. Mayan and his gang of other teenage juveniles reportedly targeted vehicles the believed to have weapons in them.

In a video from WHAS11, a prosecutor reveals that one of the stolen cars had bullet holes in the body work, and blood on the interior that was later traced back to a teenager that had been shot.
That’s very disturbing, and not nearly as fun as the music-blaring, street-dancing and morally-innocent vibe the Baby Driver movie went for. But still, boosting at least 23 cars before your even 20-years-old is, uh, considerable.
