Meizu Pro 6 packs 10-core processor and 4GB of RAM at a solid price

Meizu on Thursday unveiled the Meizu Pro 6, an Android flagship that joins the growing lineup of powerful and exciting Chinese smartphones. Its design doesn’t do much to stand out from other big aluminum handsets but that’s not the point. The Meizu Pro 6 is meant to take inspiration from around the market to create the best possible 5.2-inch smartphone money can buy. One of the big features it’s adopting is Apple’s 3D Touch, here dubbed 3D Press.

The Pro 6 comes equipped with a 10-core MediaTek Helio X25 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of storage, a 21-megapixel Sony IMX230 sensor with laser autofocus, and a 5.2-inch Full HD screen. The lower-resolution help the Pro 6’s 2,560mAh battery last a while.

Meanwhile, the device sports a fingerprint sensor and comes rocking Flyme 5, the latest version of Meizu’s Android customization. Additionally, Meizu says its device uses the CS43L36 decoding integrated amp chip from Cirrus Logic, providing users with high-quality audio performance. All of this comes inside of a body that’s just 7.25 mm thick.

No word on availability but the Meizu 6 Pro will run for $386 for the 32GB version and $432 for the 64GB version.
