The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1’s new 6.2-liter supercharged V8 doesn’t just sound good on paper. The latest footage of the ZL1 testing on the Nürburgring sounds unbelievably good even through the cheesiest phone speakers. (Plus, they kept it off a wall this time.) Chevy did its best Red vs. Blue act with its two test cars duking it out for my attention. The quick, smooth gear changes of the red car sounds like it may have that new trick 10-speed automatic transmission. The rowdy noises emanating from the blue car sound, however, more like a foot blipping a downshift. We’re guessing the blue car probably has the six-speed.
