MGMT — ‘She Works Out Too Much’

For me and my friends, MGMT’s first big album Oracular Spectacular was like the post-college party anthem collection of the late 2000s, when we were all young and awesome and able to go all night and doing ACL Fest and SXSW wasn’t an absolutely horrifying proposition. But the subsequent MGMT albums didn’t have the same magic. They never did much for me, and the band dropped off my radar entirely.

However, MGMT’s new album from last year, Little Dark Age, is pretty solid. This song is my favorite. I hope you enjoy it too, it’s both a workout track and a breakup song. Happy Friday.
